* Having to find a menagerie of stuffed animals, the right amount and types of blankets, an extra drink of water, 17 various race cars and a book or two at bedtime.
* My name (mom). Said over and over for no apparent reason except to enjoy the sing-songy-ness of it. The realization that no matter how many times I respond with a "yes?" a "what?" or a "hmmm?" it will never satisfy them.

* Being corrected. By a 3 year old. A 3 year old who thinks he knows everything. A 3 year old with whom it is impossible to argue.
* Asking "Why did you do it? and getting the answer "I don't know."
And the things that make me laugh, no matter how many times I hear/see them, even though sometimes they shouldn't:
* From K2 - "I don't like your a-ttude, mommmy"

* K2's word-stutter problem
* Hearing from both kids while on the potty that they still have "more poops in their bum"
* When K2 is so very mad at her brother and she is screaming her words at the top of her lungs: "K1! Hit! Me! That! Is! Not! OK!"
* And a recent conversation with K1 as he sat on the toilet, after a snack of nachos that left him feeling a little sick: "I have nacho poops that need to come out." (He then toots). "That was a nacho toot, mom."
