I've got two... backseat drivers that is. K-squared loves to tell me how to drive. "Go mom go!" (This is said regardless of what color the light is, or how many cars are in front of me in any given line of traffic.) They also love to yell at other cars... "hey! move out of the way!" and "ugh! stupid guy!" I should be shame-faced and humbled in the face of what is obvious a replay of the way mom is behind the wheel. But I can't deny I like their spunk. I like that they let everyone know what they think. It seems they've already learned how liberating it can be... but I suppose I better teach them how often speaking their mind can cause trouble.

May is here, and it looks like there might actually be a few continual days of warm weather. We are very excited. I've been hoping that the advent of sun would inspire me to get outside and plant flowers, but unfortunately it still seems like more of a chore than anything else. I do love a flowery backyard, I just don't look so forward to all the work it takes to get it that way. So, instead of planting we've been doing some bike riding, and that has been a lot of fun. I think last year I sufficiently built up enough butt callouses that it doesn't quite hurt the way it did before. But I still struggle with that damned broken tail bone - I really feel it after sitting for a while on the bike.
I have big plans for K-squared and I to spend as much time outside as possible while the weather is at perfect temperatures. Not only is the sun exhilarating for all, it also helps to clear up mine and K1's excema.

I just took him to the dermatologist this week, and we spent $200 on prescription creams to try and knock it out. I hope I've sufficiently scared him away from scratching or even touching his severe spots, this way-too-expensive cream better work because I don't plan on buying it every other week. You know how everyone is always saying kids are so expensive? Well this week I realized why ;).
